Writer & Fiber Artist

I write about nature, people and animals, and make clothing and accessories from homegrown Icelandic wool. In my stories and novels:

Nature

is more than place, setting and environment. Nature deserves our respect, care and reverent observation.

People

cooperate, share their knowledge and skills, and work together to protect water, air and earth.

Animals

are sentient beings who have their own intelligence and relationships, and teach us valuable lessons every day.

Organic Farming & Foraging

Heirloom apples, organic carrots, wild berries, herbs and dry beans are all worth preserving. The blemished and imperfect are all the more cherished for being homegrown.

Knitting, Weaving & Felting

I knit, weave and felt items using traditional techniques from handspun homegrown Icelandic wool and found fibers. You can also read about my projects on Ravelry.
